Bicycles are fun to ride and a great form of transportation.

But bicycles can also be dangerous.

The risks associated with bicycle riding depend on many factors, such as the experience level of the rider. Riding at nighttime is also more dangerous than daytime travel.

Of course, wearing a helmet is one of the best ways to protect yourself if you’re riding a bicycle.

This one piece of equipment can help prevent a serious injury—or even death.

So, be prudent (see definition and hear pronunciation below) and always wear a helmet when you go out for a spin!
