That’s A Lot of Ruckus!

ruckus-cool-words

Are you ever startled by a loud noise?

You may be studying at school or simply walking in your neighborhood when suddenly you hear the loud blast of a jackhammer or the piercing squeal of a siren.

While this type of ruckus (see definition and hear pronunciation below) generally passes quickly, there are times when the disturbance persists.

When this happens, you may have to remove yourself from the noise or cover your ears.

Otherwise, you could possibly damage your hearing!
