Basketball is one of the most exciting sports there is—whether you’re watching it or playing it.
It’s also one of the most dangerous sports for both boys and girls.
Sprained ankles are among the most common injuries that occur on basketball courts.
A significant number of players are also affected by contusions (see definition and hear pronunciation below) or fractures at some point in their playing careers.
That’s why it’s always smart to think of safety before stepping onto the court!
