Where’s the Easiest Egress?

Whenever you’re in a public place, it’s always a good idea to make note of the closest exit.
Whether you’re entering a movie theater, getting on a bus or checking into a hotel, you want to know the fastest means of egress (see definition and hear pronunciation below) in case there’s an emergency.
There are laws requiring that exit signs be easily visible whenever you are in a public place.
So, look around. If you ever need to make a quick getaway because of an emergency, you’ll be glad that you did!
