More than 40 million adults who live in the US are age 65 or older.
Sometimes, these people are referred to as “senior citizens.” But not everyone likes that term.
Lots of geriatric (see definition and hear pronunciation below) individuals prefer the term “older adult.”
It’s a factual description that usually won’t offend anyone!
