If you’ve ever thought of becoming a doctor, Halloween might be a good time to get a head start on your studies.

Skeletons are everywhere! And, of course, doctors usually need to include some osteology (see definition and hear pronunciation below) in their training.

Do you have any idea how many bones are in the human body?

It would probably be difficult to get an accurate count by looking at a Halloween costume. But there are 206 bones in the human body.

You may want to file away that fact just in case you ever want be called “Doctor.”
