Albert Einstein is one of the greatest intellects of all time.

As a well-known physicist and the winner of the Nobel Prize, Einstein is considered by many to be the greatest scientist of the 20th century.

As a student, he excelled in math and physics but did not make outstanding grades in all subjects.

As an adult, he worked for a time as an examiner in a patent office before becoming a university professor.

As his knowledge base expanded, many perceived Einstein as the perfect example of a polymath (see definition and hear pronunciation below).

So, if someone ever uses that term to describe you, rest assured it’s a compliment!
