Whether it’s a firefighter who protects us from fires, an astronaut who explores outer space or a scientist who creates new inventions, there are plenty of people to admire for their accomplishments.
A hero is someone whom we revere (see definition and hear pronunciation below) based on his/her contributions to society.
If you don’t have a hero, give it some thought.
It’s always nice to have someone to admire!
