Don’t Get Thwarted By the Snow!

A fresh blanket of snow can be a beautiful sight.

But it can also cause big problems.

If it interferes with our ability to travel, snow can prevent us from getting to school or work on time.

It can also thwart (see definition and hear pronunciation below) our plans for certain outdoor activities.

With a major snowfall and strong winds, snow drifts can easily become several feet deep.

The good news is that all that snow will eventually melt. It might just take some time!
