A Transmogrified Creature…

Over the years, many legends have featured frightening creatures known as werewolves.

These mythical monsters start out as human but are transmogrified (see definition and hear pronunciation below) into wolves.

Many movies and books have included werewolves as main characters.

The television series “Dark Shadows,” which also featured werewolves, ran for nearly five years.

On Halloween, you’re also likely to see plenty of werewolf costumes!
