
If you pass by a playground, you may recall carefree times when you were a young child.
You may even experience a wistful (see definition and hear pronunciation below) feeling as you acknowledge that those days are now gone.
Interestingly, even though we may recall parts of our childhood years, few adults can remember events that occurred earlier than age 3 or 4, according to psychological studies.
So, if you try to recall the first time you crawled or learned to walk, chances are those memories will elude you.
