Incontrovertible Evidence of a King!

King Richard III of England may have died in battle back in 1485, but his story, famously portrayed by Shakespeare in his play Richard III, has made headlines in recent years.

In 2012, the king’s long-lost bones were found beneath the site of a parking lot in Leicester, England.

Researchers conducted DNA tests and produced incontrovertible (see definition and hear pronunciation below) evidence that the bones that had been discovered did belong to Richard.

After more than 500 years, one of British history’s most enduring mysteries was finally solved!
